One app, 15 languages

The new version targets English, Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, French, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian, Urdu, German, Japanese, Marathi and Vietnamese. It is not yet released. This is an agreed selection of major languages, not an exact world ranking claim.

Before your first conversation

Open Models and settings, select a profile, review the size and explicitly start the download. Apple delivers the packs; Wi-Fi is recommended and mobile data charges may apply. iOS/iPadOS 26 or later is required. Compact requires approximately 1.3 GB, Balanced 1.7 GB and Quality 2.5 GB, plus installation headroom. All languages share these models. Recording is enabled only after integrity verification.

Have a conversation

Select the source and target languages or swap them. Tap the speaker language, say a short sentence and tap Stop. Recording ends automatically after 20 seconds. You can also enter text. Processing stays on the device. The simplified version has no continuous background listening mode.

Voices and quality

Speech output uses suitable local iOS voices. If no voice is installed, the result is shown as text. Add voices in iOS Accessibility settings. Quality varies with language and hardware. Names, amounts and negations can be wrong. Verify important information with a qualified person. Do not rely on the app alone in emergencies or for binding medical, legal or financial decisions.
