For confidentiality, privacy or commercially sensitive information, Informatik Baums also offers self-hosted models in your own or dedicated infrastructure. Inputs and documents can be processed without external model APIs.
Choose the operating model
Plan access controls, permitted network connections, logging, updates and backups. An internet-isolated deployment can be scoped separately.
Build around your requirements
Relevant considerations may include GDPR Articles 25 and 32, protection of trade secrets and professional confidentiality. These do not impose a blanket requirement for self-hosted models.
Your legal and privacy specialists assess applicable obligations, including employment-related requirements. The service provides agreed technical implementation, not legal advice or certification. Self-hosting alone does not guarantee compliance.

I develop fully self-hosted AI solutions for business workflows, combining local language models with document search, voice functions, a customised interface and existing systems. Browser tools allow manual takeover and can access external websites; this particular setup is not fully isolated from the internet.
